TNSR is Netgate’s high-performance software router and VPN concentrator, designed for professional environments that require advanced routing, scalability, automation and high-throughput network performance.
Unlike a traditional firewall focused mainly on perimeter security, TNSR is aimed at scenarios where routing performance, site-to-site connectivity, VPN aggregation, BGP, OSPF, cloud deployments and large-scale network architectures are key requirements.
TNSR is suitable for enterprises, public sector organizations, ISPs, MSPs/MSSPs, SaaS providers and cloud environments that need a flexible, powerful and scalable routing platform.
The solution is based on advanced networking technologies such as Vector Packet Processing, VPP, DPDK, FRR, strongSwan, RESTCONF API and CLI, enabling high packet-processing performance, automation and advanced network management.
TNSR can be deployed on selected Netgate systems, as well as in cloud environments such as AWS and Microsoft Azure, depending on the project requirements.

TNSR can be deployed in virtual environments such as KVM and VMware, as well as in supported cloud platforms including AWS and Microsoft Azure, depending on the project requirements.
