Commercial Use
Business, production, MSP/CSP, and similar uses require a pfSense+ commercial license, subject to the EULA (End-User License Agreement). For volume and OEM inquiries, please contact us.
Available Commercial Licenses:
- Commercial Instance: License for one instance on custom hardware (white box/DIY) or a virtual machine.
- Cloud Images: Available directly on AWS and Azure marketplaces. Private AWS/Azure offers and OEM licenses are available upon request.
- Enhanced Commercial Instances: Include additional support for Netgate devices with pfSense Plus.
TAC Lite Included
TAC Lite support is provided free of charge with Netgate devices running pfSense Plus software for the device’s lifetime. See our lifecycle page for more details.

pfSense Plus Annual Software Subscription for Commercial Use
- Migration: Upgrade from pfSense 2.7 to pfSense Plus.

Purchasing the TAC ENTERPRISE 24x7x365 support subscription from Netgate is fast and easy. Follow these simple steps:
- If you are upgrading from pfSense CE, select the Upgrade option.
- If you are renewing your pfSense+ software subscription, select the Renewal option, and input your Netgate Device ID (NDI) into the input field. The Netgate Device ID is located on the pfSense+ software dashboard. Copy and paste it into the field.
- Select the term of 1, 2, or 3 years.
- Click the + Add to Cart button.

Note:
- Support is sold on a per-install basis. Only installs with a valid support subscription will be covered.
- TAC subscriptions are available exclusively for pfSense Plus. If you are using pfSense CE, migration will be required before requesting support. See the documentation on how to migrate from pfSense CE to pfSense Plus.
